Life on Purpose

I need to live a life full of purpose. We all want to know God’s purpose for our lives don’t we? So here is what I will do to have a purposeful life:

I will purpose to live a life of discipline – a life where we have the discipline to do what we say we will do, the discipline to do what we know we should do and the discipline to avoid what should be avoided.

I will purpose to be grateful for the life we have, not focus on what we don’t have.

I will purpose to love and be a friend.

I will purpose to have a “good day” every day and not let the day effect us.

I will purpose to have fun; it is a dull life if you aren’t having some fun.

I will purpose to help someone else; if we only focus on us we miss so many opportunities.

I will purpose to explore new things, what is life if it isn’t about new experiences, what if we had never tasted chocolate?

I will purpose to seek God and love Him and to know Him more and more each day. It is in Him that our lives are complete and purposeful. Through Him that we have the disciplined and the strength to get through the day, through Him that we owe our thanksgiving for all that we have, through Him that we can risk stepping out in love, fun and serving. It is only through Him that we have joy indescribable.
