New Manifestations

21 Days of Focused Prayer – Day 12
Isaiah 53:5; 58:8; healing, open doors, miracles, freedom, praise

Isaiah 53:5 (New Living Translation)
5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

If I spend any amount of time reading this verse and reflecting on all the the Lord has done for me I can do nothing by praise Him. It was for me that He suffered the terrible pain on the cross and it was for me that He sits on the throne of Glory today.
Yes, I have witnessed first hand the miracle of healing in my life [read my post from May 25th http://reflectionsofkj.blogspot.com/2007/05/me-big-c.html ] But the greater miracle is the wholeness and freedom I walk in today. I was crude, rude and obnoxious before I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior. Rebellion was who I was not something I did. I was a broken mess from what had been done to me and what I had done to others.
Jesus has taken that pile of failure and healed me, released me from my own prison and continues to mold and shape me into His own image. How can I not Praise Him?
