Blow Out

My June 6th post talked about praying specific prayers, too bad I don’t always remember that. As I talked about in yesterdays post Kyle and I attended the Mariners game last night. As is normal the weather this last week has been iffy for an enjoyable game down at Safeco field. Yes, I love to go to the ball park, eat hot dogs and peanuts and enjoy the game, the only problem is that I don’t like to be cold.

For the last couple of weeks I have been praying for the weather to be clear and warm. Last night we got to the game and it was near 70 and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Thank you Lord that you answer even prayers for weather at a sporting event just to make me comfortable.

The only problem was that I didn’t pray that the Mariners would show up and play baseball. They were blown out. The Reds had 4 runs in the first inning and it went down hill from that.

Reds 16, Mariners 1

So remember, God expects us to ask and He expects us to be specific, even if it is only a ball game.
