Today is our 7th wedding anniversary but I’m not really one for ‘anniversaries’. By definition an anniversary is the celebration of a past event. I would rather celebrate our marriage and not the wedding.
· Our wedding had a beginning and an end; our marriage I truly believe will never end.
· Our wedding had only a few guests; our marriage is full of people, friends and family.
· Our wedding happened in the past; our marriage happens in the now.
· Our wedding was legal event; or marriage is a God event.
· Our wedding was only for a day; our marriage is new every day – even if it does start in the middle of the night.
So today and every day I celebrate our marriage and the wonderful man who continues to make our wedding a marriage that I celebrate.
